Please consider stabilizing games-fps/quake4-bin-1.4.2. It's been in tree for four years with no updates for the past three, and has no open bugs. I've tested on amd64 and it works great.
Wanted to follow up on this, since it's been a year since my initial stabilization request. As noted previously, there are no open bugs for this, and this version has been in the tree for several years. Security bug 194607 might apply to this (though I don't think so based on the the last few comments), but that would equally apply to 1.3.2, which is stable. So, if that's not a reason to prevent 1.3.2 from being considered stable, it shouldn't be a factor for 1.4.2 either. I'm also switching this over to Keywording and Stabilization, as that seems to be more appropriate for this type of request.
Not sure if would be better to drop all versions to testing as all of them are hardmasked
