Description Francois Meehan 2002-06-17 15:10:05 UTC
Did installed moinmoin from portage, the application is working except for the
spell checker, when invoking it I get on this error message:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to
complete your request.

On /var/log/apache/ssl-error_log I get the following:
Premature end of script headers: /home/httpd/htdocs/moinmoin/moin.cgi

Can this be transfered to the individual that prepared this package?

Thanks in advance.

P.S.

Did followed the moinmoin instruction, deleted dict.cache and created a
directory called dict in /usr/lib/python2.2/site-packages/MoinMoin, also did
create the soft link to /usr/share/dict/words, no succes...

The ebuild doesn't really do much, so I'm guessing that
the problem isn't due to Gentoo. A check, though, would
be to run moinmoin from the /usr/share/moin directory
(following the moinmoin installation directions that
are part of the wiki) to see if spell-checking works
from there. If it does, then it's definitely something
we've done wrong.

Hi, I did install the original moin rel. 1 from the moinmoin site. Still I have
the error with the speller, so I guess it takes portage out of it. I can't
explain why it works in slackware and not on gentoo though...

Thanks for you help.

*Sigh* Closing for now.
