For the past few months or so, gstreamer has been stuck at 0.10.31 in Prefix. Despite this, gst-plugins-base was updated (in Prefix) to 0.10.35. This requires gstreamer-0.10.34. As a result, Portage refuses to update gst-plugins-base. Is there something preventing you from updating gstreamer? Or is this just an oversight? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge -1 gst-plugins-base Actual Results: Portage refuses to update gst-plugins-base because gstreamer is too old and no newer ebuilds exist.
