On my ~amd64 machine gcc fails to build with the go extension. I have various other things activated (graphite, hardened, lto (although I build everything without lto, since it clashes with hardened)), but would be willing to do some testing to narrow the issue down.

Without go enabled everything works just fine.

Same here with ~amd64 hardened.
Comment 3 Markus Walter 2011-11-16 14:40:04 UTC
The error continues to exist with gcc-4.6.2.
Comment 4 Magnus Granberg gentoo-dev 2011-11-16 22:53:01 UTC
The compile error will be fixed in next bump on the piepatchset for gcc 4.6
But i don't have any fix for the RXW stuff in the libgo lib.
So anything that use that lib need paxctl -m
Comment 5 Magnus Granberg gentoo-dev 2011-12-07 20:28:50 UTC
Fixed in piepatchset 0.5.0
