After vym-1.12.7 installation, I tried to use it and so save my project file. Unfortunately I got an error: "Couldn't start zip to compress data." and so "save" step failed. I have checked and app-arch/zip was not installed on my laptop. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Ensure that zip package is not installed: # emerge --unmerge zip 2. Install vym: # echo "=x11-misc/vym-1.12.7" >> /etc/portage/package.keywords/x11-app # emerge vym 3. Run vym 4. Create a new project 5. Save the new project file Actual Results: Saving file failed with the following error message: "Couldn't start zip to compress data." Expected Results: File is correctly saved. An easy workaround is to install: "appr-arch/zip" and everything is OK. But I think this should be present in the ebuild as a RDEPEND.
Fixed in CVS.
