Description Colleen 2011-08-23 04:35:49 UTC
After enabling the PM_RUNTIME kernel option, a nasty kernel paging error happens just before the SLIM login screen appears. Partial Boot Log and kernel configs are attached.

This is always reproducible (upon every boot, and if I re-compile the kernel with the same options)

Can you reproduce this without the fglrx module loaded?

Can you also reproduce it with 2.6.39 or 3.0 kernels?

Thanks.

No, I can boot into single-user mode.

Seems to work in 2.6.39, even if fglrx is loaded. So I guess fglrx is the culprit.

Can you test with fglrx in 3.0.4 kernel and if it fails, can you test without fglrx in 3.0.4 kernel?
