When running powershell, it often wont start with the following error:
Gdk-WARNING **: Missing charsets in FontSet creation

If it does start, 
it will segfault when selecting the Preferences dialog.

Yes this is a powershell known bug. 
I suggest you to use multi-gnome-terminal instead
emerge multi-gnome-terminal

Powershell is buggy.
