Description Richard Freeman gentoo-dev 2004-01-12 04:37:35 UTC
When I try to emerge openoffice, compile terminates with a LONG string of errors. The first seems to be a missing include directory, followed by a string of syntax errors.

Will attach log of compile.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge openoffice

Actual Results:
See attached compile log.

Expected Results:
Successful build.

see attached compile log.

compile log - trimmed

I trimmed out all but the final lines - the whole log is 21MB in size.
Comment 2 Richard Freeman gentoo-dev 2004-01-14 04:14:59 UTC
The bug is no longer reproducible for me - on repeating the attempt several times it terminated with a variety of errors, and then finally worked. Perhaps the ebuild needs to disable parallel make (I've noticed problems like this with parallel make before - I don't have it explicitly enabled in make.conf, but it seems to be the new default for portage)?

Closing this, thanks for your report anyway
