Bug 379331 – mail-client/thunderbird-5.0 - attachment causes email signature to not appear

When using Thunderbird 5.0 and starting the composition of a message with an attachment (for example, when forwarding an email as an attachment), the signature block does not appear (and there seems to be no way to force it to).

As I am uncertain whether this happens with upstream Thunderbird or not (I do not have the ability to test that right now) I am filing the bug against Gentoo.  If I can determine at a later date that the problem is indeed upstream, I will file a bug report there, but I hope it's not upstream's bug; I have yet to have a bug filed there be fixed, and I do not have the ability (read: time) to grok Mozilla's code to fix the bug myself at the moment.
