Description Shawe Ewahs 2004-01-11 07:40:56 UTC
When I tryed to emerge openoffice, alsa-drivers and other things I have this message:

ERROR: Error 65280 occurred while making /var/tmp/portage/openoffice-1.1.0-r2/work/oo_1.1_src/sal/osl/unx
!!! ERROR: app-office/openoffice-1.1.0-r2 failed.
!!! Function src_compile, Line 471, Exitcode 1
!!! Build failed!

I have a Pentium4 with GCC 3.2.3, I don't know if you need more info, if you need anything more, please notify me.

please attache the output of:
# emerge info
Comment 2 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2004-01-11 13:22:42 UTC
what version of tar do you have ?
Comment 3 Andreas Proschofsky (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-01-13 06:38:51 UTC
Please attach a little bit more of the build log, this is too few information. And like Markus already said, we need the "emerge info" output too.

On a more general note: The combination of Pentium4 with gcc 3.2.x is known to break OpenOffice, take a look at Bug #33224
Comment 4 Shawe Ewahs 2004-01-13 16:30:59 UTC
my problem is resolved with gcc 3.3.2, thanks
