I am copy/pasting my answers to the ebuild quiz. Many of my answers are formatted as paragraphs and lists (using "-" as the bullet points). This formatting gets lost when the text is formatted for display.
It looks like some
tags need to be inserted for line breaks.
I think it would be better to display answers using a
block rather than applying whatever output filter is currently being used.
Application uses markdown[0] to allow formatting in answers. But application should tell it to users. [0] http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/syntax
I prepared a fix: https://github.com/ahenobarbi/Gentoo-Recruiters-App/commit/b852c3bd9b16563a919e8839285f633b1695466b do you think a hint "You can use markdown in your answer." below box for answer text is enough?
(In reply to comment #4) > do you think a hint "You can use markdown in your answer." below box for answer > text is enough? A link to a simple guide on markdown would be nice. This was my first exposure to it.
The recruiting app is offline, so I'm marking this resolved to clear it from my bug list.
