Looks like media-gfx/kphotoalbum don't want new exiv2 !!! Multiple package instances within a single package slot have been pulled !!! into the dependency graph, resulting in a slot conflict: media-gfx/exiv2:0 (media-gfx/exiv2-0.21.1-r1::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) pulled in by >=media-gfx/exiv2-0.20 required by (kde-base/libkexiv2-4.6.5::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) (media-gfx/exiv2-0.19::gentoo, installed) pulled in by <media-gfx/exiv2-0.21 required by (media-gfx/kphotoalbum-4.1.1::gentoo, installed) Reproducible: Always

We want to stabilize > kphotoalbum-4.1.1-r1 (<<), where this is fixed. You are trying to emerge > kphotoalbum-4.1.1 I ran emerge --sync before this post. Just re-sync again and the same results with more conflicts. OK the other conflicts came from other packages, openoffice which was hard masked. I get rid of this unmasking this oo version. But <media-gfx/exiv2-0.21 required by (media-gfx/kphotoalbum-4.1.1::gentoo, installed) problem remains. is gentoo-portage uptodate ??? SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage"
Re-read comment 9 <media-gfx/exiv2-0.21 required by (media-gfx/kphotoalbum-4.1.1::gentoo, installed) Uninstall it. Conflicts are sometimes a matter of juggling. Clear packages to clear the way for the required. Is the above 4-1.1?? In any case, please try to reduce the "noise" on this bug.
please try to reduce the "noise" on this bug. sorry jmb, a bit late. misiek@, having started this bug, at comment 3, the dev made it a stable request for this package. This is us testing it to clear it for removing the ~ from amd64. amd64: emerged ok with std flags, waiting for kdelibs; consider pass unless find some issue to post.
amd64 done. Thank you all
x86 stable, all arches done.
