Hi there, I already posted this on the forum but no answers. This is from the forum: "Hello fellas, I got a small issue here (hopefully it is a small one). My mom sometimes uses a xnest session if my sister is already logged in because she doesn't want to close running apps. When she writes an email she is stuck at the point where an '@' is inserted in the middle of an email adress. As you can see right now when logged in the normal way (like I am now) there's no problem with '@'. Only when you log into an xnest you can't use '@' anymore. The computer is set to German on default with 'export LANG=de_DE@euro' in /etc/profile. I don't know if this might be of relevance. Please help - my mom is getting mad at me No, not really, but it would be nice to have Xnest running the right way and not the highway. Ty! mic" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a normal user session. The '@' character works. 2. Open a xnest session in the already running session 3. Open any app where you can type something in, e.g. mailclient or a terminal 4. Try typing '@' - it doesn't work Actual Results: '@' can't be typed Expected Results: '@' can be typed
Xnest isn't gnome, it's Xfree. Please do not assign bugs directly, let bug-wranglers find a home.
Too old. :) laters Sebastian
