hmm no /usr/bin/install should be a symlink to /bin/install according to my system. Does it exist ?
Well, I made the symlink. Before it didn't exist. Johnny
Can be closed. sys-apps/coreutils-5.0.91-r4 symlinks /bin/install to /usr/bin/install which fixes the problem
