what mirror was used here? (we need the exact name or IP address -- not just 'rsync.gentoo.org' which is a rotation of some 25 servers)
rsync1.it.gentoo.org sole.infis.univ.trieste.it (140.105.134.1) This server I often get (using europe rsync servers)
Andrea -- could you take a look at this?
I've synced with my server with no problems, it seems to me that the error was client side. Could you try deleting the dirs referred in the error and see if they are correctly recreated? Maybe it's a filesystem problem on your side. If you get the error again could you please tell me your IP address so that I can check the logs?
The error is not solved. My IP is 80.126.113.115. rsync: recv_generator: mkdir "dev-php/PEAR-HTML_Javascript": Invalid argument (2 ) stat dev-php/PEAR-HTML_Javascript : Invalid argument rsync: recv_generator: mkdir "dev-php/PEAR-HTML_Javascript/files": Invalid argum ent (2) stat dev-php/PEAR-HTML_Javascript/files : Invalid argument readlink dev-php/PEAR-HTML_Javascript: Invalid argument rsync: recv_generator: mkdir "dev-php/PEAR-HTML_Javascript": Invalid argument (2 ) stat dev-php/PEAR-HTML_Javascript : Invalid argument rsync: recv_generator: mkdir "dev-php/PEAR-HTML_Javascript/files": Invalid argum ent (2) stat dev-php/PEAR-HTML_Javascript/files : Invalid argument
I've checked the logs and there isn't any server side error. Please try deleting the entire dev-php, perform a filesystem check and then resync with the mirror. Also it might be helpful trying another mirror to confirm that this is not a server problem if that is the case. Thanks
My bad, it seems there is an error in that dir ls: /usr/portage/dev-php/PEAR-HTML_Javascript: Invalid argument Thanks for the help anyway, I'll close this bug now.
