I believe that gnomeicu is missing a dependency on "socks", when I compile I get this link error: gnomeicu.o: In function `main': gnomeicu.o(.text+0xba3): undefined reference to `SOCKSinit' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
Hi, it still doesnt work. I'm using gcc3.2pre: gnomeicu.o: In function `main': gnomeicu.o(.text+0x285): undefined reference to `SOCKSinit' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [gnomeicu] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/gnomeicu-0.98.2-r3/work/gnomeicu-0.98.2/src' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/gnomeicu-0.98.2-r3/work/gnomeicu-0.98.2' make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2 !!! ERROR: The ebuild did not complete successfully. !!! Function src_compile, Line -116, Exitcode 2 !!! (no error message) !!! emerge aborting on /usr/portage/net-im/gnomeicu/gnomeicu-0.98.2-r3.ebuild . I have a suggestion, maybe the deal is with some library that has not been updated, so gnomeicu thinks that has all the dependeces bout its not so. Its just a idea... buh stroke! save us!
Fixed in gnomeicu-0.98.2-r5 , thanks.
