Emerging Qt 4.7.9999 (from qting-edge overlay) pulls media-libs/jpeg as a dep. I have media-libs/libjpeg-turbo installed which works just fine with Qt.

As a workaround, I've put "media-libs/jpeg-8c" in my profile/package.provided and Qt emerged and works fine.

The Qt live ebuilds should be modified so that media-libs/libjpeg-turbo can be used instead of media-libs/jpeg. There's a virtual/jpeg which probably should be used instead.

Thanks. I had put media-libs/jpeg in my package.provided in order to work around the problem, so I didn't notice that it got fixed. Closing.
