hdparm on startup sets up both my dvd-rom (pioneer dvd-116) and my dvd-rw (NEC 1300A) to dma=on. Unfortunatly in at least >2.6.0 (including mm and gentoo-dev) this leads to the dvd-rw not being able to burn.
