I added "amd64" to the ebuild file for pan-0.14.2 and built, installed and am running pan under gentoo 1.4.0 on an amd64 box. So far, it appears to work fine.

seems to work ok, but the headers for the articles become jumbled.

If I rebuild it using "libtoolize -c -f" before configure, and add
AC_PROG_LIBTOOL to the configure.in file, this fixes the header problem.
