Description Andreas Steinmetz 2011-07-21 23:00:15 UTC
See http://www.mail-archive.com/autofs@linux.kernel.org/msg08629.html for a proper description.

See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=692823 for details and a working patch.

Reproducible: Always

i started to add this, but i guess i got side tracked and never got back to it. 8.13 is about to be released, so i'll simply wait for that instead.
Comment 2 Maxim Kammerer 2012-01-27 13:28:16 UTC
Still happens with coreutils-8.14 and autofs-5.0.6-r3.
Comment 3 Maxim Kammerer 2012-07-08 20:37:04 UTC
I don't observe this bug anymore (same coreutils and autofs versions as above), hardened-sources-3.2.11. Has a patch been added, or perhaps this has been fixed in the kernel?
Comment 4 Andreas Steinmetz 2012-07-11 00:17:37 UTC
Right,
the problem seems to be gone. Relevant packages on my system(s):

sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-3.4.4
net-fs/autofs-5.0.6-r5
sys-apps/coreutils-8.17

I'm thus closing the bug.
