Please stable it on all arches.

Hi Justin, the dependency structure of these sci-bugs is completely messed up and circular. Oasis depends on the stable bugs that it blocks. Can you either please fix it, or make one new huge bug with the whole list. I would also have to use a lot of repoman force to commit all these changes from individual bugs in the wrong order...
Comment 8 Justin Lecher (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-09-30 07:57:32 UTC
I am sorry for that mess. Could you do me a favour and add a list of all packages we need to be stabled for sci.chemistry/ccp4 latest version? I will clean the bugs according to that then. thanks
Comment 9 Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2011-10-05 19:51:45 UTC
amd64 ok, you can mark stable at same time the following list:

=sci-chemistry/xia2-0.3.3.1
=sci-chemistry/mrbump-0.4.4
=sci-chemistry/oasis-4.0-r2
=sci-chemistry/ccp4-apps-6.1.3-r10
=sci-chemistry/pointless-1.6.2

there are no blocks for me merging this list at same time.

Please do. I noticed Agostino (ago) posted some lists, but it's not ACK-ed by the maintainers and bug deps are still a mess. How about closing existing bugs and opening a new open, having everything needed in it?

By the way, this is exactly the reason why those packages are not stable on x86 yet.

I resorted all the bugz. packages to stabilize are

sci-chemistry/ccp4-apps
sci-chemistry/oasis
sci-chemistry/mrbump
sci-chemistry/pointless
sci-chemistry/xia2
sci-chemistry/ccp4

in this order. Hopefully I didn't miss any.
Comment 13 Justin Lecher (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-02-28 19:13:45 UTC
X86 please go ahead
Comment 14 Andreas Schürch gentoo-dev 2012-04-14 10:05:17 UTC
x86 stabilized with bug 375917.
Thanks, closing!
