This is a ebuild for the xpertmud mud client. It is an graphical kde mud client incorporating advanced perl and python scripting facilities. Despite the name, the client is quite stable, but the author has obviously something against "real" versions, so only alpha and beta versions are released, and the beta versions are the releases :) I have tested this on 3 different machines, all x86, all with different kde and qt versions and it worked quite well. On one machine I had an issue with a wrong perl include path, but I think this was because of a changed HOST or ARCH variable in make.conf, so the perl modules were not correctly installed. But I think this is no bug of the package but a fault of me. Every thing else went quite well. CU all, Jens

Created attachment 25111 [details] new ebuild for xpertmud-3.1_alpha1 Since the 3.0 ebuild hasn't been added to portage yet, I'm attaching the new ebuild to this report
Well, xpertmud-3.1preview1 was released today, to make it compatible with gentoo's versioning scheme, I named the ebuild "3.1_alpha1". That version is basically a CVS snapshot and has quite some known bugs, but with the last release over an year old, it has also lots of nifty new features...
3.1_pre1 is now in portage, thanks for the ebuild
