the ebuild doesnt work.
i have tried manually installing the latest cvs version and licq installs but
when i try install a gui plugin it errors out because it doesnt make the .lo
files or it makes .loT files...

the ebuild is masked for that reason.. licq 1.0.4 is b0rked beyond usability.. IMHO it's best to forget Licq, since there are much better ones out there, that actually work..
