Description Sebastian 2004-01-07 13:31:22 UTC
Hello,

I run fluxbox 0.9.7, xfree 4.0.0-rc2 and mplayer-1.0-pre3. I know the latter two are not considered stable in gentoo. But the problem might be of interest. I have and ATI Rage Mobility which is supportet with xv overlay since the release candidates of xfree 4.0.0.

When I start mplayer (using xv) the overlay window with the movie playing pops up. It has the fluxbox theme borders so everything is great. Then I hit 'f' and it goes fullscreen. I hit 'f' again and it goes back. But now the fluxbox theme borders of the overlay window are gone.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. get flux 0.9.7, xfree 4.0.0-pre2 (maybe this happens with the stable xfree, too), mplayer-1.0-pre3 (maybe it happens with stable mplayer, too)
2. start mplayer movie.avi
3. go fullscreen then leave fullscreen
-> no borders

Actual Results:
Borders aren't there after leaving fullscreen

Expected Results:
Borders are there after leaving fullscreen

does the border come back, if you bind a toggle window decor key and .. toggle it?

Upstream have fixed this in -cvs. It'll be in the next release (0.9.9 or 1.0pre1 or whatever they decide to call it).
