Please find attached lyskom-elisp-client-swedish-0.47.1.ebuild,lyskom-elisp-client-english-0.47.1.ebuild and a site-lisp configuration file (which is the same for both ebuilds). LysKOM is a BBS-like conference system heavily used in Swedish academic computer societies. These Ebuilds are for the Emacs-LISP clients, Swedish and English versions. I suggest these be added as app-emacs/lyskom-elisp-client-swedish and app-emacs/lyskom-elisp-client-english. An alternative could be to create a net-lyskom category to prepare for adding the server and other clients as well. See http://www.lysator.liu.se/lyskom/index-en.html for some information about the whole system. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

Hi, sorry about the delay. I just want you to ask a question. Why not adding lyscom-elisp-client (lyskom-all) and let users define kom-default-language? It is easier to upgrade one ebuild than to upgrade two almost identical ebuild... (then we will only need one site-lisp configuration file)
That would have been easier, yes, but I've never gotten it to work for me. Every time I've tried it the client ignores my local settings and gives me an English login prompt, and after login switches to the correct language based on the settings stored on the server. If it works for you, or you think the problem is too minor to warrant the extra work of maintaining two ebuilds, I can write a new ebuild for lyskom-all instead.
Created attachment 27526 [details] lyskom-elisp-client-0.47.1.ebuild Please find attached ebuild. It is for lyskom-all package. As you pointed out, the default menu language is English. However, I read README.sv from Debian package of lyskom and found that we could set (setq-default kom-default-language 'sv) to enable Swedish menu (emerge the ebuild and put this line into your ~/.emacs). It worked for me. It shows Swedish... I think ;) If it also works for you, I'll add this ebuild instead of yours and put some advisory to enable Swedish menu in pkg_postinst(). If it does't work for you, I'll add both ebuilds. Please test and report it back.
Yes, that's Swedish :) And it works perfectly now. Strange, because I know I've tried that before and couldn't get it to work.
Cool. I added lyskom-elisp-client-0.47.1.ebuild to CVS. Thanks for the contribution ;)
