When I try to compile sci-geosciences/qgis-1.4.0 it fail with a message regarding QString constructor. does 1.7 compile? I plan to stabilise it after grass-6.4 is stable on x86. (well it should compile so just migrate to testing on qgis for the time being)
Will rather stabilise 1.7.0.
