Description CSTA Chris 2011-06-24 01:44:51 UTC
I'm trying to upgrade glibc from 2.6.1 to 2.10.1-r1 using gcc-4.1.2 so I can then upgrade gcc and world but the compilation always stops at the phase where it touches the stamp.o[sS] files complaining that it doesn't exist.

But it does.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
emerge -v glibc or emerge -uav glibc
Actual Results:

i wouldnt be surprised if you need to upgrade your coreutils to latest stable considering how old your kernel is ...
