Bug 37269 – Wammu is GUI for Gammu

Wammu is GUI for Gammu, it has support for:

    * complete support (can read/edit/delete/copy) for contacts, todo, calendar
    * can read/save/send smses
    * sms composer for multi part smses (currently only text and predefined bitmap/sound can be edited)
    * can display smses including pictures


Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Goto http://www.cihar.com/gammu/wammu/
2.download the file
3.install the file :)

Actual Results:  
I can run the program (screen http://www.cihar.com/gammu/wammu/wammu-sms.png)

Expected Results:  
I can install it from portage

I've made some REALLY PRELIMINARY ebuilds to help possible developers. You need to add almost everything but you don't have to worry about finding the URLs and downloading the necessary files...

Please don't open new bugs, just mark the old attachments obsolete.

Ok. Gonna remember.

Anyway - there were three bugs with the request for wammu. For every of them I added info about the new one and ask for closing.
