Please retest after syncing and getting updated ebuild: 03 Mar 2012; Pacho Ramos <pacho@gentoo.org> +files/l7-filter-userspace-0.11-arm-ppc-getopt-help-fix.patch, +files/l7-filter-userspace-0.11-map-access-threadsafe.patch, +files/l7-filter-userspace-0.11-pattern-loading-leak.patch, l7-filter-userspace-0.11.ebuild: Include fixes from debian and ppc/arm compatibility, bug #329397 (by Gavin Pryke). It works fine for me (while applying provided patch breaks compilation for me on amd64)

Maybe it fixes this issues (and > make other patches useless): > http://download.clearfoundation.com/l7-filter/l7-filter-userspace-0.12-beta1.tar.gz This update makes Debian patches useless because they are included there (or are just backports). l7-filter-userspace-0.11~conntrack-0.0.100.patch is still needed and needs to be updated for 0.12-beta1. I will fill a separate version bump request for this task.
(In reply to comment #8) > l7-filter-userspace-0.11~conntrack-0.0.100.patch is still needed and needs > to be updated for 0.12-beta1. Oops, it applies as is, I messed with custom ${S} needed for this ebuild.

And this patch does'n change l7-queue.cpp at all.
Bug 411109 for version bump request is filled.
should be fixed with the bump
