Description Jacob Godserv 2011-06-18 21:42:04 UTC
I've uninstalled nano because I want to (and so far have been fairly successful in) getting used to vim. I pull up nano by habit every so often, and still do even after a few years of vim. Anyways, vim aside, fcron hasn't been touched since I reinstalled my system a few months ago, and since then I uninstalled nano.

Updating fcron to fix another bug for cron.{daily, hourly, etc} directories, now without nano installed, produces this odd change in my configuration. I did check fcrontab, and it still runs fine. My $EDITOR variable is properly automagically set by Gentoo.

 # Still use the system-auth stack for account and session as the
 # sysadmin might have set up stuff properly, and also avoids
-# sidestepping limits (since fcrontab will run /bin/nano).
+# sidestepping limits (since fcrontab will run ).
 account include system-auth
 session include system-auth

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
(Guessing:)
1. Install nano and vim
2. Install fcron
3. Uninstall nano (use -C and ignore emerge's warnings; since vim is installed the system set is satisfied)
4. Reinstall fcron

I've changed the text now so it shouldn't be an issue. Thanks!
