Description ta2002 2011-06-17 05:56:32 UTC
Never saw this happen with any other package. It seems that eclean just doesn't see it (maybe incorrect parsing with the number in the package name).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
# eclean -dp distfiles
 * Building file list for distfiles cleaning...
 * Your distfiles directory was already clean.

# qlist -Iv kde-l10n
kde-base/kde-l10n-4.6.3-r1

# ls -al /usr/portage/distfiles/kde-l10n*
-rw-rw-r-- 1 portage portage 6429198 2010-06-28 15:59:34 /usr/portage/distfiles/kde-l10n-ru-4.4.5.tar.bz2
-rw-rw-r-- 1 portage portage 12159214 2011-04-28 15:58:55 /usr/portage/distfiles/kde-l10n-ru-4.6.3.tar.bz2
Actual Results:
The command did not show kde-l10n-ru-4.4.5.tar.bz2 as unnecessary.

Expected Results:
The command should have suggested kde-l10n-ru-4.4.5.tar.bz2 for removal.

1) Please post your `emerge --info' output too.
2) Does it do suggest cleaning that up if you specify --destructive (possibly with --pretend added so nothing is actually removed)?

I did that (I used -dp for destructive and pretend).

I also tested this on another machine (same result).
Comment 3 ta2002 2011-06-20 09:04:46 UTC
I finally realized that kde-base/kdepim-l10n-4.4.11.1-r1 was requiring kde-l10n-ru-4.4.5.tar.bz2. Sorry.
