The ebuild

This is what I have so far. There are a few problems though:

1. The plugin can't detect that F@H is running (I have it added to the default
runlevel as specified in the F@H ebuild). I don't know why this is happening.
2. The plugin needs to read some info from the F@H configuration file
(/opt/foldingathome/client.cfg). It needs some chmod-ing to allow this. I think

this should be done in the F@H ebuild.
3. http://gkrellfah2.sourceforge.net/ptable.dat is a helper file generated by
the author of the program and is used to help the plugin calculate the
projected
annual score and possibly the time the work unit is due (I'm not 100% about
this
one). I could include the file in the SRC_URI and copy it to /opt/foldingathome

during src_unpack() for example. The problem is this file changes as the F@H
project adds new work units - see http://folding.stanford.edu/psummary.html

Problem no 3 is not that important... but I think 2 and especially 1 are.

Either find a maintainer, or if you want to maintain it yourself, feel free to reopen with updated ebuild (latest is 1.2.3 from July 2006) and join project sunrise, details here:

http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/sunrise

Thanks.

WONTFIX meanwhile.
