There was a -tetex- discussion floating around a few days ago asking some tetex questions. Since I use tetex, I looked and noticed that the ebuild had been cleaned up some junk, so I tried it. It seems to work fine for my limited applications. (TeTeX is huge, and I work in the corner of it that builds .pdf or .ps documents using math fonts, memos (with local .cls/.sty files, and such.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.ACCEPT_KEYWORDS='sparc' emerge tetex 2. 3. Actual Results: tetex-2.0.2-r3 built, installed successfully. It works for my documents just like it always did. Expected Results: Exactly what it did. There's "no way" this can be sparc only, but that's what I have so that's where I put it. ======================================================================== fmccor@antaresia:~/DOCS/LETTERS/PERSONAL [292]% emerge info Portage 2.0.49-r20 (default-sparc64-1.4, gcc-3.2.3, glibc-2.3.2-r3, 2.4.23-sparc-r1) ================================================================= System uname: 2.4.23-sparc-r1 sparc64 sun4u Gentoo Base System version 1.4.3.10p1 ccache version 2.2 [enabled] ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="sparc" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-mcpu=ultrasparc -O3 -pipe" CHOST="sparc-unknown-linux-gnu" COMPILER="gcc3" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb:/usr/kde/3.1/share/config:/usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/ /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/share/config /usr/share/texmf/tex/platex/config/:/usr/share/config /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-mcpu=ultrasparc -O3 -pipe -Wno-deprecated" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="ccache sandbox" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.oregonstate.edu http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo" MAKEOPTS="-j3" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="sparc X arts avi berkdb bidi cjk crypt cups encode fbcon foomaticdb gdbm gif gtk imlib java jpeg libwww mad mikmod motif mozilla mpeg mysql ncurses nls opengl oss pam pdflib perl png python qt readline ruby ruby18 slang spell ssl stroke tcltk tcpd tetex tiff truetype xml2 xmms xv zlib"
Marked stable. Thanks for the bug report :)
