The LDPATH probably should append stuff rather than overwrite it. mkdir /etc.. probably unecessary or should be keepdir. Otherwise looks good - will look at later.

I tried to make this package work, but the application or the included libraries have something not right with them, and the only fix is to recompile and re-link on a modern gentoo machine. The windows come up, but remain blank and appear to be hang.
However the author doesn't provide sources for the modern versions, so we can't recompile it.

dragonheart: the user's LDPATH stuff is correct. env-update does the appending when it builds the data for /etc/profile.custom
