Thanks for the report. Due to a bug in eix the actually non-matching line ~net-print/hplip-3.11.5::gentoo was treated for version 3.10.9-r1 as if you had there a line like net-print/hplip amd64 which caused the strange "mixed" positive. The bug should be fixed in eix svn trunk (>=eix-0.22.9). (I know that one may discuss whether the line net-print/hplip amd64 should really cause a "mixed" positive or only a "double" positive, but it would require a much more complex algorithm to distinguish these cases - since I cannot think about an application where the reliability of this distinction is really essential, I leave this as it is now.)
