This looks dead. Maybe time for last rites.
I agree as there are other tools like baobab for this
Is there any issues using gtkdiskfree ? The software is quite old, but still works well. Baobab maybe does the same, but requires (a lot of) gnome libraries to work.
>=gnome-base/libgtop-2.12 >=gnome-base/gconf-2:2 I don't think they are "a lot" of "gnome" libs
But as it still seems to work... + 17 Feb 2012; Pacho Ramos <pacho@gentoo.org> gtkdiskfree-1.9.3-r1.ebuild: + Fallback to gentoo.org homepage as upstream is dead, install desktop file. Bug + #370605 by David and Samuel BAUER. + Anyway, this will probably be lastritted again if some problem without a patch appears and nobody is willing to maintain (or proxy-maintain) it :/ http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/qa/proxy-maintainers/index.xml

Even it isn't an "official" website, gtkdiskfree still availaible there: http://fossies.org/unix/privat/gtkdiskfree-1.9.3.tar.gz/
I updated the code to make it gtk3 compliant https://gitorious.org/gtkdiskfree/gtkdiskfree/ hope it will help not to be marked for last rites again

If you are willing to proxy maintain gtkdiskfree, I would have no problem on bump it to your updated versions (with gtk3 port and all our current patches merged ;), maybe other distributions are applying some more patches could interest you if you plan to fork gtkdiskfree)
We continue in bug 410757 then ;)
