Description Randy Barlow 2011-06-07 20:58:11 UTC
I've noticed over the past few days (a week ago I updated from KDE 4.4 to 4.6) that xscreensaver often will cause X to crash during unlocking. I haven't been able to determine when it happens and when it does not.

I do note in my X log a stack trace:

After the crash, I will be at the KDM login prompt (and somewhat frustrated :)

To me this looks like X crashing because of Intel drivers and back interaction with OpenGL software -> Move to x11@ maintainers
Comment 3 Reinis Danne 2012-09-14 16:23:30 UTC
Please check with xorg-server-1.13.0.

Are you still having troubles with the latest ~arch ebuild (2.20.14 as of today). If so, please let us know and open a bug report upstream [1].

Thanks

I sadly do not have the computer that was having this issue anymore, as it belonged to my previous employer. I'll go ahead and close the ticket, but feel free to reopen if you'd rather keep it around. Is RESOLVED OBSOLETE a good choice of status, since there's a new version?

Many apologies for not responding to Reinis's comment, I must have missed it in my e-mail.
