There are several bugs that I would like to file against the man pages of specific commands. The Guided Format page says, at the top, "First, you must pick a product on which to enter a bug.". However, it doesn't offer any help as to whether I should file bugs about the documentation of a specific command against that command, or against Docs-user. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit http://bugs.gentoo.org/enter_bug.cgi?format=guided Expected Results: I think that the page should say something like "First, you must pick a product on which to enter a bug. Bugs related to the documentation of a specific product should be filed on that product.", or whatever happens to be factually correct. Also, the description of the "Docs-User" component should be describe what exactly consists of "User oriented documentation". I've noticed that there isn't a "man pages" component for "Docs-User", so I assume that it isn't meant to be included. However, if bugs relating to the manual pages of a specific program should be filed against "Docs-User", I can file another bug relating to the lack of a "man pages" component in Docs-User.
Most problems pertaining to bad man pages "this being the application software" then it's a probably a file that didn't get emerged or an upstream bug. The "Docs-User" manpage revolves around "man emerge" type stuff. Sorry for the confusion, in the future it's a best to just sent it to Gentoo Linux and type describe it best there. - Added bold "if your unsure..." on that page
