Hi,

It appears that ftp.uninett.no was not added back in any rotations after some previous issue.  Probably the rsync scare.  The bug is fixed, it was backported to the uio rsync package:

nil@spheniscus ~ $ rsync --version
rsync  version 2.5.5_uio  protocol version 26

Additionally we no longer have access to ftp.ussg.ui.edu:

@ERROR: auth failed on module gentoo-distfiles
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (668 bytes read so far)
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(165)

What is "ftp.ussg.ui.edu" ?

The mirroring was not stable enough anyway.  Removed pending a better mirroring architecture.
