Please update, a simple rename should do the trick (the patch should be fine). Thx.
did you try with postgres ?
No, i USE "-postgres". Postgres is not installed at all, so i can't test it (without installing). But it runs fine on several of my boxes (all without postgres). HTH, Jan
compile breaks with postgresql i'll try higher version
it think this is cause postgresql changed the location of the include files
Aide-0.10 fixes a bug that caused earlier versions to segfault on ppc hardware. Can we get this ebuild added as unstable?
Wanted to add that aide-0.9 installs but crashes on use on amd64, but aide-0.10 appears to work fine on this platform. Definitely seems worth unmasking this one. --ryan.
Created attachment 37231 [details, diff] dp_sql.c patch - Compile fix for incompleted file This file seems to have been ported at some point, this patch is against aide-cvs, but did apply for me on 0.10.
Created attachment 37232 [details, diff] db_sql.h - patch for updated exported function. This is in compliment to the previous patch. This fixes the build for PgSQL. My C is rusty, but it should work. IN any case, I have not tested it yet.
dragonheart and I have cooked up a cvs snapshot and postgres patch (slightly modified from the patch submitted by Joshua Schmidlkofer in bug #37007) and have released aide-0.10_p20040917. This should fix bugs 23764, 37007, and 62194. Please test.
