Description Sebastián Magrí 2011-05-31 05:11:36 UTC
By default, faenza-icon-theme's start-here icon is the Debian logo. It'd be nice to show start-here-gentoo instead.

There is a ready solution for this, for example here:

http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo-x86/x11-themes/tangerine-icon-theme/tangerine-icon-theme-0.27.ebuild?revision=1.4&view=markup

hwoarang, could you do the change to replace start-here icon with the gentoo logo, just like in the tangerine ebuild? you know i'm in a bit difficult situation to fix bugs :/

I am sorry but what do you mean "start-here" icon? Where is this icon displayed?

GNOME 2.x uses it as default menu icon in the gnome-panel, or something like that... I haven't seen it used in, for example, Xfce so i'm not suprised this went unnoticed

# qlist faenza-icon-theme | grep start-here

Ok, this *should* be fixed in -r1. I apologize in advance if this does not work for you, as I don't use gnome so there is no easy way for me to verify it this is actually fixed.
