Description cyberbat 2011-05-29 11:17:40 UTC
After each kde restarting, sensor labels (Core 0, Core 1, temp1 and so on) on plasmoid are not shown. If I resize plasmoid in any way (shrink or enlarge) they come back till next kde restart.

I've tried default scheme and different others. I've upgraded from KDE 4.4. I use stable branch.

Do you still have this problem with kde-4.6.3?
Comment 2 cyberbat 2011-06-13 14:16:58 UTC
It's pity, but yes.
Comment 3 cyberbat 2011-08-11 11:25:04 UTC
Still have the problem with 4.6.5. :(
Comment 4 Andreas K. Hüttel archtester gentoo-dev 2011-08-15 14:38:39 UTC
Is there already a bugreport at bugs.kde.org? if no, could you please file one and link to it here?!

How about KDE 4.7.3?

Just the same :(
Comment 7 Johannes Huber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-01-11 18:54:59 UTC
How about KDE SC 4.7.4?
Comment 8 Ian Delaney (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-01-12 18:07:05 UTC
attempted replicating
gentoo64 pykde4 # emerge =kde-base/plasma-workspace-4.7.3-r7

invoked a system monitor widget; reports 1 of the 4 cores.
hibernated and returned; sensor dial and text all present.
Not sure what posted did exactly since the widget I have is not re-sizable.
Comment 9 Johannes Huber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-01-13 08:12:32 UTC
Works for me in 4.7.4.

Plasmoid without labels (wrong)

Bug still exist. I attach screenshot without labels and I'm going to attach correct screenshot (with labels) after resizing.

Plasmoid with labels (right)

This is what should be. I get it after any resizing of plasmoid (shrinking or enlarging).

Bug still exists with kde 4.7.4.

How about KDE 4.8.0?

AS for me, I have no testing machine with kde, so I can test kde 4.8 only after its stabilization or on gentoo livedvd. Sorry.

Bug's still here in 4.8.1.

It make no sense to track this issue forever. From distribution point of view its a minor gui issue with which will not block stabilization. Its reported upstream so maybe someone of the kde devs will pick this issue up in the future.
