Description Anton Bolshakov 2011-05-28 05:18:32 UTC
Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade media-plugins/gst-plugins-ffmpeg-0.10.11-r1 on my mostly stable x86 laptop, however the emerge freezes at some stage. I've tried to stop it with ctrl+c but there is still SVN process left in the memory which takes 100% cpu. I can not kill it even with -9 signal.

I've also tried to compile without the new orc flag, but freezes in the same way.

FYI, the next version media-plugins/gst-plugins-ffmpeg-0.10.12 compiles fine.

Is somebody looking at it?
Comment 3 Mart Raudsepp gentoo-dev 2011-10-13 13:21:06 UTC
I can't imagine how subversion would get involved here.
That said, 0.10.12 has been in the tree since 10th August, just not in the stable tree yet.
Comment 4 Anton Bolshakov 2012-07-07 02:44:17 UTC
I don't have that x86 box anymore, therefore can't reproduce or verity the issue.
Anyways, I didn't have this problem with the 0.10.12 version.
Closing it for now.
