AdPlug is a free, cross-platform, hardware independent AdLib sound player library, mainly written in C++ and released under the LGPL. AdPlug plays sound data, originally created for the AdLib (OPL2) audio board, directly from its original format on top of an OPL2 emulator or by using the real hardware. No OPL chip is required for playback.

This is specific to one sound board. There's no real way for us to test this as devs. Without testing, these ebuilds will never hit stable. Without the proper hardware to test with, something like this just can't happen.
WTF? THIS IS AN EMULATOR!!!
uhm... they're already in portage... calm down
Sorry for raising this on a 2 year old bug and i might be completly blind for not seeing the obvious, but adplay (in all it's versions) misses it's use-deps for alsa, esound, sdl, oss. Therefore adplay fails to compile when additional USEs are requested. The use-deps are correctly stated in the ebuild here, why are they not in the tree?
