after upgreding to gentoo-soursec-2.6.38-r4( from r3) the sound hasat workt as it suld do, the voulum is extremly low. oterwise it works perfklt fine...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.instal your Ensoniq 5880B.
2.instal gentoo-sources-2.6.38-r4 or later, with alsa and suport for yuor ensoniq 5880B, start up on the new kernel...
3.try to play up any sound...
Actual Results:  
evrting works as it shuld do, besids the sound i extremly low...

Expected Results:  
acsecly as it dose, besid planing up the sound so it herabal without turning upp the vulem to max on yuor soud system...

i am rely poor on writing and english, so congrtelish if yuo understand...
