When selecting the graphical designer of the new QML system, qt-creator just hangs forever. After a bit of debugging, it turns out that the qt-designer actually waits for an external component to continue (blocking). That component is called "qmlpuppet" and is installed if you compile qt-creator from source but _not_ when installing the qt-creator package (with qml use flag). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install qt-creator (with qml use flag) 2. Try running "qmlpuppet" Actual Results: It will not be installed. Expected Results: It should be installed As this cripples a major component of qt-creator and should be fairly easy to fix, I elevated the bug priority. Btw., I also opened an issue on the Nokia bug tracker suggesting to handle this situation a bit better: http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTCREATORBUG-4909 This is still a packaging bug, tough.
