Hauppauge WinTV-HVR900 USB TV tuner.
No problem under Gentoo with 2.6.35-r15 kernel
No problem under ArchLinux (2.6.38)
With the 2.6.37-r4 disconnecting the device (even if not used) causes kernel panic.
The results of:
# rmmod em28xx_alsa
# rmmod em28xx
in attached log.

Reproducible: Always

Can you test on gentoo-sources-2.6.38-r5 and let us know if it still occurs?

Well... I've just tried 2.6.38-r5 and it *seems* to work OK.
Looks like some regression in 2.6.37 fixed in the next release?
