Gentoo doesn't provide sxiv [1] ebuilds.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Look for sxiv in portage tree.
Actual Results:  
No ebuild available.

Expected Results:  
Ebuilds available.

From sxiv README:

sxiv: Simple (or small or suckless) X Image Viewer

sxiv is an alternative to feh and qiv. Its only dependency besides xlib is imlib2. The primary goal for writing sxiv is to create an image viewer, which only has the most basic features required for fast image viewing (the ones I want). It works nicely with tiling window managers and its code base should be kept small and clean to make it easy for you to dig into it and customize it for your needs.

The ebuild looks pretty good; I think you're just missing one '|| die' after dodoc. Try getting it committed to Sunrise to speed things up:

just added it to my overlay at http://git.overlays.gentoo.org/gitweb/?p=dev/xmw.git;a=summary (layman -a xmw).

It's fit for the tree, i'm willing to maintain it or be a proxy for you, if you want.

That sounds good.
I guess pushing this to Sunrise doesn't make much sense now, does it?

Nope. Proxy-maintaining could still be fun, though.
