emerge info x86 nvidia mobo

At around line 501 with the error there is an implicit direction to flush buffers
in drm_agpsupport.c . prior to this point all was compiling well.
Reason I'm trying to use this package, when trying to startX fails because there isn't any drm facility.
If anyone can point me to a fix for this it will be apreciated.
I have updated my mobo to a Gigabyte GA-n700 Pro2,and my original nvidia card wasn't compatible, managed to obtain an agp 8x Geforce 6200,so am stuck with this
setup.

I have done so for your usage, it probably won't apply to me now as I have included the CONFIG_DRM into the kernel, and now have a usable gui in operation.
The problem came about as I was following a thread on the Forums about the installation of nouveau, which recommended not using the drm in the kernel,as this wasn't successful,I recompiled the kernel with it in place ,and now am able to login and use the system.

The log from attachment 272847 [details] looks as if you ran X -configure. This does not work with KMS any more.

The in-kernel DRM should be preferred over the nouveau-drm package unless you cannot use it for some reason.

Marking as OBSOLETE.
