At least the reference from here should be removed: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/java.xml#doc_chap2 There seems to be some useful terminology in the upgrade guide that could probably be moved to the Java guide before the upgrade guide is removed. I'll leave to call to you on what makes best sense for the user documentation.
Fixed. I removed the chapter entirely. If the upgrade document isn't needed anymore, you might consider removing it from your /proj/ tree. If you do, be sure to let the GDP know, so that we can update metadoc.xml accordingly.
